Comperemedia Director of Insights, Telecom, Emily Groch and Mintel Senior Gaming Analyst John Poelking reflect on a busy year of streaming to give us their take on the current digital landscape and a look ahead to what’s next. Last year, Emily and John discussed what would be known as “the streaming wars;” when telecom giants were bolstering their streaming libraries looking to attract the largest amount of users.

In 2020, streaming had new services, shifting expectations, and of course a pandemic that led to an immense increase from users that were locked down at home. As more people spend time at home, consumers have seen their options grow.
